The Fall of the House of Escher was born in the middle of a party at a convention. Lawrence Watt-Evans, another former president of the Horror Writer’s Association, was there with me, and we were talking about titles. For some reason – this one popped out. It is ANOTHER Lovecraftian tale, and was the title piece of my Macabre Inc collection The Fall of the House of Escher & Other Illusions, published so long ago I hardly remember it.
